                                                                                               Reverend Evans is the biological son of the late Bernard Evans, and the son of Deacon                                                                                                                      Edward Goode and Reverend Clara Goode. Reverend Evans attended Shaw University with                                                                                                              undergrad studies in Psychology. He pursued further studies at Vintage Bible College.  

                                                                                                         Proclaiming the need to “remember the purpose of Calvary” his spiritual goal is a                                                                                                                               multicultural/holistic ministry – rooted and
                                                                                                         grounded in God’s Word – yet maintain the structure and teachings of the old-time
                                                                                                         way. His favorite scripture is, “I can do all things through Christ, which
                                                                                                         strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). 


​                                                                                                         He joined First Baptist Church in Lexington, NC where he was a member of the
                                                                                                         Men’s Fellowship. He also served as an Associate minister and Youth Minister
                                                                                                         under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Herbert Miller. Rev. Evans accepted his call
                                                                                                         into the ministry and was licensed to preach in 1991, under the late Rev. Donald L.
​                                                                                                         Salley and was ordained under the High Point Educational Missionary Baptist
                                                                                                         Association. He contributes his nurturing and Christian up-bringing from his home
                                                                                                         church, Morning Star Baptist Church, child Evangelism which laid the foundation
​                                                                                                         for his ministry where Dr. Dennis Leach is the pastor.                                               

Rev. Terrance T. Evans is the Senior Pastor of Canaan Missionary Baptist in Winston Salem, NC. He is a member of the Winston Salem Baptist Ministry Alliance. Pastor Evans also serves as the Chief Operating Officer for The Gathering International Fellowship. Rev. Evans is the founder of the Upper Room Baptist Church in High Point.  

Pastor Evans was Interim of Bible Way Baptist Church, NC and a former Pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church Baptist Church in High Point, NC.
Rev. Evans preaches, lectures and teaches workshops for various churches in the state of North Carolina he is a strong believer in God’s word (2 Timothy 2:15) states “Study to shew thyself approved unto God”. Pastor Terrance Evans has traveled all over America proclaiming the Good News of Christ through Praise and Worship, (Psalm 150) “Let everything that has breath the praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.  Pastor Evans is also a member of Titus Lodge 176 Raleigh NC. 

He and his wife Christy Fulton Evans are in union with three children: Sydni, Kyndal, and Kennan.
